How to download wallpaper from Desktoptopia 如何下载Desktoptopia的壁纸

From my previous post, i mention about Desktoptopia wallpaper changer and provide the apple script to download the wallpaper into your desktop, however, if you are not Apple OSX Leopard user are not able to use this script.

So i find another solution by using FireFox 3 + plugin for any platform user (Inlcuding window or linux) as long you have FireFox 3 or 2 above, read instruction below…

上一篇我介绍了使用Desktoptopia来更换桌面的壁纸，并且提供apple script来下载，但如果你不是OSX Leopard用户，你并不能使用该Script.

所以这里我再写一篇使用FireFox 3 ＋ plugin的方法来下载，这适合任何系统(windows/linux etc)只要你有FireFox 3 or 2版本以上, 详细参考以下教学：

1. Go and download this plug-in for FireFox call User Agent Switcher and install it, restart your FireFox:
1. 去下载并且这FireFox插件 User Agent Switcher , 并重启你的FireFox

2. After restart FireFox, goto toolbar on top, choose “Tools” > “User Agent Switcher” > “Options” > “Options”
2. 重启FireFox后，到工具栏选择 “Tools” > “User Agent Switcher” > “Options” > “Options”

3. In this option dialog, click “User Agents” option, click “Add…” button
3. 在这选项里，选择 “User Agents”, 并且点击 “Add…” 按键

And key in “Desktoptopia” to the User Agent text field, the rest is up to you. I leave them blank:
在 User Agent 一栏输入 “Desktoptopia”，剩的随便你，我放空：

4. Click ok, now go to “Tools” again, select “User Aganet Switcher” and select “Desktoptopiau user agent” (this is my description, you can change to your own)
4. 点击Ok后，再到会工具栏，选择”Tools” > “User Aganet Switcher” > “Desktoptopiau user agent” (这是我的description设定, 你可以更改)

5. Ok, you are almost there, now goto Desktoptopia website, click “Browse Desktop” button and browse the category that you want to, say i browse “Illustrations” category :
5. 好了，你已经差不多完成了，现在到 Desktoptopia 网站，点击 “Browser Desktop” 按键然后浏览你要的分类，比如我浏览 “Illustrations” 分类

6. Right click on the picture you want to download, select “Copy Link in New Tab”
6. 在你要下载的图片上右键，并且选择”Copy Link in New Tab”

7. Now goto the URL bar, simply remove the last line “-preview” of the URL address, for example:

http://www.desktoptopia.com/image/1282.jpg

7. 到输入URL地址的工具栏，把”-preview” 的地址删除，比如：

http://www.desktoptopia.com/image/1282.jpg

8. Done~ remember change your “User Agent” back to “default” when you surf other website.
8. 完成了，当你浏览其它网页时记得把你的”User Agent”设定回 “default” 哦！

Here is the example of the wallpaper in 2560×1600 pixel:

This is optional, there is another easy step after you have installed the plugin and setup the user agent.
Simply browse this address and download the picture from the picture link (by using FireFox 3 + plugin):

But you can’t preview the thumbnail. This is just short-cut.

这是其它选择，还有一个简单的步骤下载，当你安装完FireFox3+Plugin后，只需要以下地址就可以直接下载，唯一的缺点是你无法先预览缩图：
