USD 0.99, not even a bowl of noodles 美元0.99，还不到一碗面的价钱

It is a midnight now, and i really want to voice this out. As I couldn’t get this out of my mind.

Recently there are so many people around me who “jailbreak” their iOS device (iPhone/iPad/iPod touch), just want to get cracked app/games for FREE. Some people even use it to make money by offering helping people jailbreak and install free craked app/games into their device. Some even proud for themselves who able to do this.

Although the purpose of “Jailbreaking” is not for them to do this but they just turn it into some sort like a shameful behavior.

现在是深夜凌晨，这想法一直在我脑海，我一定要说出来。

身边越来越多人拥有iOS装置 (iPhone/iPad/iPod touch) 。而大部分的人“越狱” 是为了可安装破解的App/Games.包括市场上一些人把安装iOS盗版软件、游戏为赚钱工具。有的甚至还沾沾自喜的觉得他们这样做是很厉害的事情。

而“越狱”原来的意义根本不是为了这些，但他们都把”越狱”的意义给弄低级了。我觉得最可悲的是，当某人问：“你’越狱‘了吗？”，接下来的却是：“越狱后可安装免费的游戏和软件哦～” 这完全违反了“越狱”原先的意义。

And i find it is shameful that kind of attitude and behavior mostly happened in Asian countries like us, especially this land – Malaysia. Which is showing WE – Asian, are more selfish, stingy, like to find excuses for ourself etc. And it is really make me felt a shame to be Malaysian.

I can understand is hard to convince people to pay for the virtual stuff like Software. Especially when the pricing is expensive, but if you can’t afford it, don’t buy it. Wait until you can afford that go and get it, instead took it somewhere else illegally. As that behavior is exactly like a robber or theft! (* I’m apologize if it is too serious for saying that, but it is the truth)

Especially in Christianity, like someone asked in my Facebook network : The behavior after jailbreak, does it “biblical”?

说实在的，身为亚洲人，我为此行为感到”丢脸“，尤其是在我们这片土地－马来西亚。我们给人一种：贪小便宜、吝啬、自私和为自己找借口等的形象。这让身为马来西亚人的我，一点都不光彩。

我可以明白要说服人购买虚拟的产品如软件是一件不容易的事，尤其是价钱比较贵的那些。但如果你负担不起，那就别买。或等到价钱跌价后再买，而不是去犯法的下载。因为这行为基本上是与强盗、小偷没两样！（＊抱歉如果形容的太夸张，但事实是如此）

尤其在基督徒生活中，好像某人在我FB里问的: 越狱后的行为”复合圣经的教导”吗？

Do you really know what is the meaning of “FREE”? FREE means:

• You can take it legally without paying it.
• You don’t find guilty or shameful to own those apps/games.
• And It is joyful to share it with people, just like Gospel.

Yes i know and understand what is in your mind now:

“Everyone doing the same thing, even Christian, why make yourself so difficult? And wrote this article make everyone feel bad?”

Yes i have a choice, i can choose to be like everyone, not mention a word and enjoy such behavior to satisfy myself. But i know i wouldn’t be happy and satisfy for doing that. And ask yourself, why you felt bad after reading this? If it is not something shameful, why you felt bad?

You knew it in the bottom of your heart, such behavior is not honorable at all.

Especially in Christianity, bible said our behavior reflecting the image of our Father. Who is our Father then if our behavior is like a theft?

你明白“免费”的真正意思吗？免费是：

• 你可以合法化的拥有该软件、游戏，而不必花一分钱。
• 你不会因拥有该软件、游戏而感到内疚、可耻。
• 你会感到喜乐的去他人分享，如同福音。

我知道并且明白你现在想什么：

“每个人都做同样的事情，包括基督徒，你为什么要为难你自己？还写这篇文章让大家感到难堪呢？”

的确，我可以选择和大家一样，一字不提，继续享受以偷盗的行为来满足自己。但那样做我不会快乐，我不会因为自己可拥有那些东西而感到光彩。而且问问你自己，读了这些，你为什么会感到难堪呢？如果这不是一件“丢脸”的事，你为什么觉得难堪？

你内心深处，明白此道理，此行为根本一点都不光彩。

尤其是在基督徒生活里，圣经说我们的行为影射我们的父是谁。如果我们的行为是偷盗，那谁又是我们的父？

USD 0.99 = RM3.10, not even a bowl of noodles. You willing pay RM3 for a bowl of noodles, but not an app that you need?

YOU CANNOT TOUCH IT, DOESN’T MEAN IT DOESN’T WORTH A MONEY. IF YOU NEED IT, PAY FOR IT. DON’T STEAL IT!

美元0.99 等于 马币3，还不到一碗面的价钱。你愿意花马币3买一碗面，却不愿意付一个你需要的软件？

你摸不到，不等于它不值钱。如果你需要它，就买。不要偷！

Guess who inspired me? My ex-boss – Paul Dudbridge from U.K. When i offering him a craked app, he refused it. That honorable attitude really inspired me! Now i want to inspire you!
