P1 W1Max vs TM Net Streamyx Advertisement war
If you are malaysian, you probably heard/seen these two advertisement war, P1 W1max launched a series of “Potong” (cut) campaign to boost their sales and subscribers. Some people may find it doesn’t sounds right and a bit sensitive, as it may give you a wrong perception about “Sunak”… (castration). But it is fun, personally i think that is really sarcastic and i like it, just don’t know why, perhaps i hate that broadband ISP so much, who always claim itself as Malaysia No.1 Broadband provider, that’s why.
如果你是马来西亚人,你最近应该有留意到这两家宽频公司的广告战。P1 W1max先开球,发布了一系列有关“割掉”的广告来吸引客户转换他们的服务。有些人也许会觉得这很不恰当,因为在马来西亚这里,“割掉”这词是蛮敏感的,也许会让你联想“阉割”。但我个人还蛮喜欢他们如此这般的讽刺另外一家大家都知晓的宽频公司,也许是因为我太痛恨那家整天说自己是全马第一的宽频公司。

Now this so called Malaysia No.1 broadband service provider – TM Net Streamyx start fight back with their campaign which telling people why cut? If you hear in radio advertisement, there ’s a mother scolding her son : “Why cut? Cut liao so slow and “Cut your head la! / “割你的头啦” / “potong kepala kau”.
现在这个一直说自己是全马第一的宽频公司也开始一系列反击的广告,告诉用户们”为什么要割“?如果你有留意电台播放的广告,某声段是一个母亲一直骂她儿子:“不是割了吗?为什么还是这么慢?….哎呀~割什么割?割你的头啦~”
