M2U – Maybank2U iPhone/iPod touch App – by Singapore?

Just now when i paying all my bills online via Maybank2U, a small ads showing Maybank2U offered a free iPhone/iPod Touch app that allow you to locate their ATM/Bank branches easily from the App.

At first i thought it is developed by Malaysia IT company, and i was thinking :  “wow~not bad, at least we do follow the trend…”

But i until i look at the screen shot of the App, it is showing “powered by buUuk”.

buUuk is a iPhone App development company in Singapore, obviously this thing is developed from Singapore team, not Malaysia.

“Why it is developed by Singapore team? Maybank always represent as Malaysia Bank…don’t you think this App should develop by Malaysia team instead of other country?”

hmm… anywhere, whatever it is. This is useful for us (Malaysian or Singaporean), can easily locate the ATMs/Branchers of Maybank from this App, instead refer to the yellow page or Google search.
