Recommended iPad apps Vol 1 – News/Book reader

Since August, 2010 when i got my iPad , I didn’t mention much about it. The reason is because i was too busy for the past few months, and when I’m free, i couldn’t get my hand off from it, so there is no time for write a blog or review, ha.
Below are some of the nice News/Book reader iPad apps. Many of them are free, so go and grab it from App store (sequence is not ranking):
1. Flipboard

3. Mobile RSS HD Free

If you are heavy Google RSS Reader user like me, you definitely need this Mobile RSS HD for iPad, as the Google Reader doesn’t work well in iPad, this Mobile RSS HD give you the same experience of Google Reader, and support multiple accounts sign in and synchronization with your Google Reader. One of my favorite iPad app that everyday i will use it to read all my RSS feed. – FREE
4. Dooland

The name sounds funny to me, especially if you able to read chinese, the chinese name of the app called “读览天下”, meaning read and explore the whole world. But in “hokkien”, it means you angry the whole world.
By the way, it is an app that allow you to subscribe and download some nice chinese magazine only. The price is reasonable, also came with free magazine as sample. – FREE (The App is free and came with some free magazine, if you like to read more, need to pay for the subscription)
5. Mashable

One of my favorite social media/tech news website, this is their official iPad application, delivers the latest coverage from Mashable.com. Mashable is the world’s largest blog focused exclusively on Web 2.0 and Social Media news. – FREE
6. Mac Life

MacLife is written for both new and veteran Apple users and enthusiasts. MacLife provides exclusive, authoritative information and advice for readers who want to get the most out of their Macs, iPods, iPhones, iPads and third-party hardware, software, and services. The magazine also delivers informative feature articles showcasing the latest hardware and software, an expanded “how-to” section, and candid reviews of the latest gear. - FREE
7. Dunim.com

Dunim.com is not app, but it is a website optimized for iPad/iPhone that you can read their magazine online. From China – FREE (Access Dunim.com from your iPad)
8. Zinio

13. CloudReader

If you are looking for free book/comic viewer that supports PDF, CBZ, ZIP, CBR and RAR format, and faster file transfer over USB cable. This is for you. – FREE
14. iBook

Well, Apple official iBook reader, to be honest, i never use it~ only one or two time, haha. But they do have some very nice book from their iBook store. - FREE
15. Kindle

If you are die-hard Amazon Kindle supporter, this app is for you. To me, i’m not. – FREE
