iPhone VS Palm Pre

Is Palm pre an iPhone killer?

Well, you probably heard this news, about new Palm pre, some people said it might be an iPhone killer. After so many touch screen phones and review from different sources, i wouldn’t say Palm pre just another “claim itself as iphone killer” touch screen phone like others (Androids, Window Mobile base etc). I would say it is another alternative best multi-touch screen phone beside iPhone.

Why? Check this out:

Regarding iPhone 3.0 and Palm pre both launching in June

There are lot more Palm pre can do than what iPhone/iPhone3G cannot do now with 2.2.1 firmware, but iPhone is going to release their new firmware 3.0 in June, which is next month, so most of the problems are solve, things like multi-tasking, copy and paste features in SMS, landscape viewe support in all native app, MMS features, 3.2 mega pixel camera (new 3rd gen iphone), A2DP Stereo Bluetooth, Sportlight search and may be a video recording features etc.

What about Synchorization between PC/Mac?

PC definitely not a problem, but some people may wonder how about synchronization between Mac without install a 3rd party software? Well, there are some rumors (quite real) reported that, Palm Pre can syn with iTune for all your contacts, calendar, and media files etc. As iTune will recognize Palm Pre as iPhone or iPod touch, i’m not so sure, but if this is real, it is going to be very interesting. However, i think soon or later Apple or block Palm pre sync with iTune, just like how they blocked the QuickPwn from 10.5.6 OSX upgrade.

I think before end of this year or Christmas, we will see there are more articles and news cover with topics about comparing these two multi-touch screen phone and their features, what about others? Well, i’m not interest with those, especially WM6 or 7.

Below are simple chart comparing Palm Pre and iPhone, which is what i know at the moment, if you consider Palm pre, this might useful for you
